Special Flame Box Elder Prayer Wheel
This is a special flame box elder standard size handheld prayer wheel. This perfect size was developed over many years of trial and error. It is large enough to contain a substantial amount of mantras, yet small enough to carry around easily and also be spun for hours without resulting in fatigue. It is made out of rare and beautiful flame box elder wood. The red streaking in the wood is natural and is caused by a fungus introduced to the dead wood by boring beetles. This is a unique and rare wood with special character. Please look at the photos before ordering.
The handle length is between 5.5 and 6 inches. The handle has an ergonomic grip which comfortably facilitates the slight muscle movements needed to spin the prayer wheel without it feeling awkward in the hand.
Inside it contains 50 million Mani mantras and 8 million Padmasambhava mantras printed on microfilm. It spins effortlessly on high quality lifetime ball bearings using an faceted egyptian crystal as a spinner, attached with a sturdy yet elegant chain. It has a crystal mounted on the top.
The engraving is the Tibetan guru rinpoche or Padmasambhava mantra in gold.
