Description
Amitabha, Guru Rinpoche Prayer Wheel
This perfect size was developed over many years of trial and error. It is large enough to contain a substantial amount of mantras, yet small enough to carry around easily and also be spun for hours without resulting in fatigue.
The handle length is between 5 and 6 inches. The handle has an ergonomic grip which comfortably facilitates the slight muscle movements needed to spin the prayer wheel without it feeling awkward in the hand.
The prayer wheel is made out of beautiful flame box elder wood, sustainably harvested in our home state of Oregon.
Flame Box Elder is a softer wood, so the prayer wheel is lighter and requires a little extra attention to protect from scratching; it is sturdy long lasting and radiantly beautiful.
Inside it contains 30 million Avalokiteshvara mantras, 1.6 million Green Tara, 1 million Guru Rinpoche and 3 million Amitabha mantras, printed on microfilm. It spins effortlessly on high quality lifetime ball bearings using a clear crystal as a spinner that is attached with a sturdy yet elegant chain.
The shape is our temple design.
The engraving is Amitabha mantra in Tibetan.
All our prayer wheels are finished with a non toxic all natural wood finish and produced with 100% renewable electricity.
