Medicine Buddha Mini Prayer Wheel
This is our mini size handheld prayer wheel. The mini is designed for portability and ease of use. It is perfect for people who take their prayer wheel everywhere with them, people with small hands, children or people who like a light prayer wheel.
The handle length is around 5 inches. The handle has an ergonomic grip which comfortably facilitates the slight muscle movements needed to spin the prayer wheel without it feeling awkward in the hand.
The barrel is made out of beautifully patterned elm wood burl and handle out of cherry burl, sustainably harvested in our home state of Oregon.
Note: Burl wood is inherently imperfect and almost always has holes, voids and bark inclusions. This imperfection is what gives figured woods their beauty. We fill voids with a black epoxy and stabilize all pieces to be as durable and lasting as any piece of wood. Make sure to look at the pictures and be aware of this before deciding that a burl wood prayer wheel is right for you.
Inside it contains 21 million Mani mantras, 1.5 million Green Tara mantras and 2 million Medicine Buddha mantras, printed on microfilm. It spins effortlessly on high quality lifetime ball bearings using an egyptian crystal as a spinner attached with a sturdy yet elegant chain.
The top is crowned with a blue Swarovski crystal.
The engraving is Chenrezig mantra in cursive Tibetan.
All our prayer wheels are finished with a non toxic all natural wood finish and produced with 100% renewable electricity.
