This perfect size was developed over many years of trial and error. It is large enough to contain a substantial amount of mantras, yet small enough to carry around easily and also be spun for hours without resulting in fatigue.
The handle length is between 5 and 6 inches. The handle has an ergonomic grip which comfortably facilitates the slight muscle movements needed to spin the prayer wheel without it feeling awkward in the hand.
This gorgeous prayer wheel is made out of plum hardwood, sustainably harvested in our home state Oregon.
Inside it contains 30 million Avalokiteshvara mantras, 1.6 million Green Tara, 1.2 million Medicine Buddha, and 200.000 Vajrasattva mantras, printed on microfilm. It spins effortlessly on high-quality lifetime ball bearings using natural turquoise as a spinner that is attached with a sturdy yet elegant chain.
The top shape is out “Temple” design, which is showing the beauty of the wood.
The engraving is Mani mantra in Tibetan.
All our prayer wheels are finished with a non-toxic all natural wood finish and produced with 100% renewable electricity.
