Cherry Dharma Wheel
This standard size prayer wheel is made out of beautiful cherry hardwood, sustainably harvested in our home state of Oregon.
This perfect size was developed over many years of trial and error. It is large enough to contain a substantial amount of mantras, yet small enough to carry around easily and also be spun for hours without resulting in fatigue.
The handle length is between 5 and 6 inches. The handle has an ergonomic grip which comfortably facilitates the slight muscle movements needed to spin the prayer wheel without it feeling awkward in the hand.
Inside it contains 20 million Avalokiteshvara mantras, 2 million Green Tara mantras, 1.6 million Medicine Buddha mantras and 200,000 Vajrasattva mantras, printed on microfilm.
It spins effortlessly on high quality lifetime ball bearings using a multifaceted crystal as a spinner that is attached with a sturdy yet elegant chain.
The top design is our “Tara’s nipple” design. This top was designed by H.E. Garchen Rinpoche who said it is to remind us of our mothers and Tara.
The engraving is Mani mantra in Tibetan.
All our prayer wheels are finished with a non toxic all natural wood finish and produced with 100% renewable electricity.
